The cabin is right on the beach, and the beach was fairly quiet in September, even on the weekend. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The only drawback was a good amount of jelly fish in the water. The Dunes have piled up on the ramp making it a bit unsafe to walk on but it is to be expected when going to the beach. The house was very clean and only slightly dated. The microwave door did break on me when I went to use it but stuff like that just happens with so much use. The other houses are close but not close enough to hear what's going on from the other homes from the inside and when outside you're so close to the beach you can barely hear anything else. I mention this because if you want fancy/upscale this is not for you. If you want simple and comfortable this is it. Good beach access and great view left to right of the area. The house is aptly named in that I counted 46 pelicans one day flying low across the water all in their single file formation. Sand burrs were a problem in the yard for our dog. Just had to find the best areas where they were not prevalent (at the end of the driveway near the mail box). Great location near the Indian Pass raw bar and not that far from Port St Joe. My wife and I have been coming here for almost 10 years and enjoy the variety of houses available in the area. ##### Andy A.
