The communal kitchen was handy and the availability of free tea, coffee, cereal, toast, etc. was appreciated. I didn't have a car so was reliant upon walking. Good shopping and walking trails close by. Day trips can be organised through the Visitor Information Centre. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was rustic overlooking the water. The communal kitchen provided included Continental Breakfast and a microwave to heat meals if desired. Toilet smelt like sewage and bathroom was very old. The bathroom was so old it even had the old cord to turn on the fan and light. The bathroom vanity was located outside of the bathroom which was very inconvenient. Front door had a 5cm gap at the bottom which meant we could hear people outside our room and probably vice versa which meant no privacy with our conversations. That particular night, we had a drunk person knocking outside our door and we could hear them cause a lot of ruckus in the shared kitchen area and down the hallway which led to a sleepless night.
