Port Isabel is a charming coastal town located at the southern tip of Texas, just across the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway from South Padre Island. The town has a rich history, highlighted by its historic district and the iconic Port Isabel Lighthouse, the only publicly accessible lighthouse in Texas. With a population of around 5,000, it offers a friendly, community-oriented atmosphere with a mix of families and retirees.
