Cherry Plum cottages was an absolute gem of a fine! It was traditional, quaint and delightful set in its own cottage garden, overlooking a field of llamas. Sitting on the Veranda in the evening whilst having a barbecue was such a lovely experience in the peace and quiet of the countryside. The room itself was so very comfortable, clean and traditional. Dianne was a great host with impeccable communication and her love of the property is evident in the attention to detail she shows in the property’s presentation. Loved the quiet farm-like surroundings with a couple of beautiful highland cattle and a herd of alpaca. Situated only a five minute drive from town, you could definitely walk there if you wanted to. Loved our stay and hope to return someday. Stayed here with my husband and 5 yo and it was perfect for us. We cooked one night and ate out the other, same for breakfast. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed watching the Fairy Wrens playing in the afternoons. At the end if the street is a mini golf course which the little one enjoyed and otherwise it is about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive into town. Homely, warm and comfortable inside and with all mod cons. Beautiful gardens and very secluded. Diane was always very helpful and thoughtful during our short stay and provided us with lots of little extras like a high chair for our baby. Comfortable and cozy! The property manager was so sweet, leaving us milk, "good" water and everything we needed for a breakfast in the morning.
