Absolutely the best position in Port Douglas we think :-) We do all of our deep cleaning in our quieter months as I am sure you can appreciate how difficult it would be to be doing it during peak season & we are hopeful that our beautiful Le Cher will get a lick of paint in her nearish future. Hi Warren, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review & we agree, our locale is just perfect. The street tends to only be busy/noisy through the day, which is to be expected when you book the convenience of being in the middle of the main street :-) Port is not a party town & is generally quiet by 9pm.As owner/managers we always do our very best to ensure guest satisfaction.

Hi William, thank you for taking the time to review us. We are sorry that we don't seem to of met with your expectations. A very short 2 nights doesn't give you much time to take stock of your surrounds. As the cafe is not part of our resort i do hope you have put forward your complaints of noise to them also. Very sorry that Port Douglas & our resorts don't measure up to your world standards but you will find that the majority of resorts in Port hold the same requirements.

HI Mary, thank you for your review. Smoking is permitted on balconies/patios at this stage as it isn't against the law. As we aren't serviced apartments, there are no linen changes for such short stays. All apartments have clothes airers that are to used for things such as towels to be dried on.

Thanks for leaving a review Alan & Jennifer. Such a shame you would give such a low score because you were unable to get your own way. Right from the start when you were demanding a certain type of room we knew the end result would be this. What you have stated is completely the opposite of what 90% of our reviews say. You wouldn't go upto the desk at a Mantra or Hilton & demand a certain type of room & you most certainly can't it here with us either. We notice there was no thanks for the effort we put in to trying to get you into a particular dinner experience & all the extra effort that was involved.
