The new luxe linens, two 'smart' flat screen TVs and brand new decorative extras, will make you feel relaxed and bit spoiled. Certainly, you will want to get out and explore all that is GRAND about Boca Grande's natural beauty and treat your senses to the casual Old Florida atmosphere that IS Boca Grande and Gasparilla Island. While sipping coffee from your first floor screened lanai, (which is about 50 feet from the water!!) you might see the sun rise, a manatee swimming, fish jumping or dolphins surfacing. You can watch the birds or boats cruising Gasparilla Sound and Charlotte Harbor or, keep your eye on those in the marina. Who knew the water and sky could include so many incredible shades of blue and green? A short walk can take you to the local fishing pier to see if the flounder, pompano, grouper, redfish, snappers, or the mighty tarpon are biting today. Or, just stroll over to the closest pool ( 3 available) for quiet swim. Going further, on bike and cart-friendly paths that extend 7 miles, you can tour the Island and the charming town of Boca Grande. Bikes and golf carts are easily rented at the main club office. You may feel as though you stepped back in time in Old Florida--quaint shops have all your basic needs covered, and some, where you can indulge yourself. Stop for an ice cream, a beverage at any number of restaurants serving awesome fresh local seafood, or probably one of your other favorite dishes prepared as 'the best you ever had'. Delightful art galleries keep your creative energies charged. All over the island, there are countless opportunities to see stunning Floridian Mother Nature at her finest. Looking for a gorgeous beach? There are more than 7 miles of stunning beach; chances are, you can find your own quiet spot, but you probably won't have room to carry all the shells you want to collect. If you are looking for more, hire a boat or take a ferry to neighboring islands to add extra memories to your book of 'Favorite Places to Be'. But if you just want to 'Hang Out', The Boca Grande Club gives you access to more pools (including a hot tub and children's pool), 8 clay tennis courts, free kayaks, beach umbrellas, a fitness center and classes, 3 mouth-watering restaurant venues including a pool-side Tiki bar, a library, and of course, the famous sunset views from the beach. Back at the condo, there's a barbeque, pool, towels, outdoor showers, free Wi-Fi and cable, a fully equipped kitchen, and washer/dryer, and a pull-out sofa. We offer preferred rates for our returning and long-term guests. Our condo is managed by the Boca Grande Club. Uncle Henry's Marina, which accommodates about 50 boats, and has a good launching ramp and rental slips, is located just in front of our property. Our lovely1-bed marina view condo was 1/2 mile from the main compound. We saw dolphins every day and walked for miles on the pristine sugar sand beach, across the road. What we didn't know was that the "marina" condos are about a half mile away from the main facilities, beach, pools, restaurants, tiki bar, etc.. We also didn't know that all of the facilities just mentioned were closed for off-season renovation. So, as it turned out, with the exception of a short drive to get to the beach, the property location didn't detract from the experience at the complex. Pricing was adjusted for seasonal rates, and these changes are expected. Overall, we had a very comfortable, quiet and enjoyable experience. ##### Mike R. We wanted a pretty location on the water that was not high maintenance but felt special. I needed water. He wanted us to not have to dine out three meals per day. A condo on the water was perfect for us. We LOVE this place. It was the right size for two adults and it had everything we could have wanted to feel like a home away from home. The kitchen had everything to make lovely meals. The home had games, puzzles, books, TV, nice lighting, a wonderful king-size bed and lots of closet space. We came in August so we basically had the entire space to ourselves and we really loved that. The Marina pool was perfect for us after each day at the beach. The beaches on Boca Grande are excellent - clean and lovely. The Beach Club which was part of our property was lovely too. The staff, the beach, the tiki bar - it all was just perfect. We are planning on coming back next year. I have never had such a restful vacation. ##### Guy H. It was quiet being tucked on the north end of the island but we found the entire area quiet since we stayed in Aug. We rented a golf cart and got snacks from Kappys which is walking distance to condo. Super convenient! The golf cart was fun for going out to eat, visiting the beach and exploring. Boca Grande has plenty of pool options and even a nice playground for small kiddos right down the road from this unit. Big bonus - family of manatees were right outside our door by the dock more than once. We loved it! Unit is clean with all amenities and lots of extra linens. Previous renters broke a drawer and it wasn’t fixed during our stay but we didn’t care, too much fun to be had. I would highly recommend to a couple or anyone with 1-2 small children who can sleep on pullout sofa. We can’t wait to come back! ##### Erin W. We rented a golf cart and used it to go to the pool at Boca Grande Club. We also used the smaller pool by our condo. Loved the sunrises. We rented a boat slip at Uncle Henry’s Marina which was conveniently located next to the condo! We will definitely be back! ##### Ann H. The unit had fantastic sunrise view overlooking marina (i am a boat guy), quiet and peaceful. Access to club pool and beach was no issue as we rented a golf cart (a little pricy). My husband and I had a fabulous time staying in this lovely condo on the marina. We rented a golf cart from the clubhouse for our stay and it was so much fun living the “island life” during our stay. The beach is just a short distance from the unit. The tiki bar at the main pool area was wonderful and so convenient for drinks/lunch while at the beach and pool for the day. The unit itself had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we asked to add another day to our trip the week before, very much appreciated. We enjoyed the dining in town during our stay. A nice steak dinner at The Pink Elephant, as well as many sunset dinners at South Beach and lunch at The Loose Caboose. We will be back - thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! ##### Melissa M. The beach access was terrific. Unfortunately the restaurant was under renovation and the Tiki bar was closed the days was closed when we were there.
