The people were friendly and it was nice to enjoy a beer and pizza in the shared bar and communal areas. We had a double room and happy with shared toilets and showers. The only problem was the lack of washbasins. The only washbasin was in the shared bathroom at the end of the corridor. There were small handbasins on top of the toilets but unfortunately none of these were working. The reception lady is friendly. We stayed for one night and left in the morning only found a charge on my credit card of 91.53 $ the next day (surely not for the accommodation as it has been fully paid beforehand.) Neither explanation nor notice in advance for this charge and I don’t know what it is about. I called the hostel several times seeking clarification and nobody answered the phone. Guided by the automatic voice of hostel, my text messages to the number with same question went unanswered either. There's a pizza bar on-site so you don't need to look further for your food and drinks. Although bathrooms are shared, they are hyper clean and there's a large number of them, so you never have to wait. We had a really comfy cosy and quiet family ensuite room but also enjoyed the shared lounge and kitchen so much. Such an amazing space with endless amounts of comfort, games, views and on-site brews! The beer was lovely, the host made us so welcome. The location was fantastic.
