Located in the family-oriented Emerald I subdivision, this lovely house has it all within its 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. Step outside on the furnished deck, and you will fall in love with the views! Enjoy the sunrise with your morning coffee, or a cocktail at the end of the day - all with views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The beach is just a walk, golf cart, or drive away making this home perfect for your family's most memorable beach vacation!

The living/kitchen area at Gypsy Sol is spacious and beautifully furnished. The home has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need to prepare your meals while on vacation, featuring a gas range, regular drip coffee maker, and a long bar with seating. Additional seating for meals or games is available at the dining table or sofa table - there's room for all! Feel right at home with amenities like a washer and dryer, and high speed internet.

The house has over 2000 square feet and two levels. The upstairs features a primary suite with a private balcony. The four other bedrooms are located on the main floor. Two bedrooms feature one king bed in each, one has two full size beds, and there is a bunk room with 3 sets of twin over twin bunks.

Under the house, there is plenty of room to gather in the shade and enjoy the company of family and friends while barbecuing on the charcoal grill. Gypsy Sol is a great place to make lasting memories!

Two small dogs (under 35 pounds) allowed with a pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Beach House

We stayed in Galveston second week of July. This review has nothing to do with the hurricane that we were in. The house was somewhat clean. The upstairs looks like it had not been vacuumed because there were still little spurs in the carpet. We found a T-shirt in the garbage disposal. There were no toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. Something had been spilled in the freezer in a not been cleaned up. We chose to stay in the house during the hurricane and being without power. That was fine. However, the property manager only sent one email and never checked in on us overall we gave this house three out of five stars .

Close to beach

Having all 16 of us under one roof was amazing. Waking up to the ocean out our front door was beautiful. The house did have enough plates, silverware and cups for 16 people. The linen fee was a bit ridiculous. I've never stayed at a VRBO without sheets, towels, kitchen towels or toilet paper!

Location is key!

I mean this is the perfect spot for a quick family vacation! The beach was clean and literally a 1 minute walk! Also the house was clean and had enough beds for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our 2nd time!

One of my favorite beach houses to rent! I just love this house. We have a toddler and a kid with us this time and we wish maybe you guys can put a gate at the top of the stairs. But overall we will definitely go back!

The floor was quite dirty upon arrival. The overall is nice and a good location. The other irritating thing is linens. There is an extra charge for linens. And it does not state this in the listing. This charge should be included in the nightly price. Feels like you are getting nickel and dimed.

Great location

Nice house. Everything you need is there. We didn't use the linen service we just brought our own. Wifi was spotty but I think that was from a wind storm they had previously. We had a great time and will definitely be back

Great view and walking access to beach

Great location, but lacking in the following: 1. Cleanliness - the house is dirty 2. House is not stocked with anything to include, TP, paper towels or garbage bags. Forget anything else. 3. If you want sheets, towels, wash cloths, hand towels kitchen towels you MUST request the linen package and it comes at a high cost. You will also have to make and strip your own bed. Also, if you want blankets or pillows that do not smell, you must bring your own. 4. The high speed internet is available, but not at this house because they do not have the appropriate equipment. So wifi is spotty at best. If you need to do any work, you need to bring a "hot spot". 5. The management was good. The issues are we had to contact the management numerous times for no wifi, no water etc. I use VRBO a lot for both business and pleasure. I have never experienced a property that was so dirty and that had no paper products or garbage bags. Additionally, I have never had to make my bed or pay for my linens.

Weekend Gathering

First off this property was beautiful. From the theme of the house up to the cleanliness it was an amazing stay for my family and friends. It was very windy this weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the beach as much but the warm feeling in the house brung us all together. I was impressed and so was my family. Will be coming back again for sure.

Property is in a great location, but needs deep cleaning bad.

This place has a great view and close access to the beach. The downfall is that this house really needs to have a deep cleaning done. Found molding in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The house does have a musty smell. I was not made aware of the extra cost of linens and towels when I booked this property, so unfortunately when we checked-in late at night the beds had no sheets and bathrooms had no towels. My family was not very happy after a 10 1/2 hour drive. We did have a issue with the stove but maintance was able to fix the issue.

Fun for all

The inside of the home was surface clean, but could use a deep clean. Many of the air vents smelled extremely musty or like mildew. There were some minor deferred maintenance items such as missing cabinet knobs and dirty windows. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the property. Proximity to the ocean was nice and the underneath parking and shower were great. A dumbwaiter would have been icing on the cake! Thank you.
