With a fire pit, a bountiful garden and lots of sand, this charming cabin is the perfect place for a large family holiday or a group trip to the beach. Our cabin faces the garden, but it is just a few steps around the back for direct access to our private beach which you’ll share with the guests in the Lake Side Cabin. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of sand for everyone! A charcoal grill awaits your brats or steaks or whatever was on sale at Walt’s Meat Market across the street. This can be a quiet romantic getaway for long walks on the beach, or an exciting family splash fest with fire roasted hot dogs and scorched marshmallows. It was renovated on the inside and clean. The downstairs stayed nice and cool though the upstairs got a little hot on the day temps were in the 90s. We would definitely stay here again. It is right behind the dune on a sandy beach with great water for swimming, paddle boarding, etc. It is located along a shallow section of Lake Huron so the water was much warmer than we expected (we were there in June). We were close enough to Caseville and Port Austin to go get lunch, ice cream, or groceries whenever we felt like it. Attentive Owner. Perfect Location. Loved my stay. I ended up traveling alone with my Dog and it was a great experience. The beach is right in front; note you can walk this beach for miles. As a hiker, there are so many local trails that are glorious. The microwave was not working (no biggie) and was delivered a new microwave the next morning. Wow!!!! Not expected. It’s so cozy here; real up North feel which is so nice. Side note, there is a store across the street, Walt’s. You can walk. Loved it! Going back for Cheeseburger and cannot wait. ##### Lisa M. We rented both the garden and beach sides. I would highly recommend this property, very well-stocked pet friendly for an additional fee and the most amazing beachfront.
