We actually called the host to find the right place. This would not be a problem in daylight. The dock is down a short hill past a couple other townhouses. although it is a shared dock we had it to ourselves most of the time. The home is very comfortable and we had a wonderful stay. Little far out of town but nice view of the lake. Owner was a bit slow responding & we didn’t get details until about an hour before check in which was a little unnerving. There is almost no outside lighting which was hard when we returned in the dark and rain with bumpy ground and uneven stone steps. An auto sensor flood light would be a big improvement. This is the first time going to Sproat Lake. The accommodation was terrific overall…very easy to find, very clean, well equipped and had a nice view of the lake. The dock was an added bonus. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and so comfortable that it was hard to believe it was dog-friendly. The view and time by the water were incredibly healing, especially as we were in town for our nephew's funeral. The linens and bedding were top-notch, the kitchen well-stocked (even with spices!), and communication with the owner was excellent.
