We parked on arrival and didn't use our car until we departed - everything you need is within walking distance or we used the buses which run very regularly. The accommodation is bright and airy, and we felt at home immediately. We brought lots of things with us, but there was no need as the kitchen has everything you need for self-catering. Handing for buses to Bournemouth and Swanage. Thought it was a bit overpriced. Walking to Bournemouth meant negotiating a beach so not easy. It’s worth flagging for any elderly guests there isn’t a lift (my mum is 76 and would have struggled if I wasn’t there to carry up bags) and if you’re not a dog lover the beach at this end is teaming with dogs (not all owners were ‘picking up’ after them), but these are the only two slight downsides. But, on the flip side this end of the beach is quieter. We loved everything else about out stay - you cant beat the location. The beach is so close, you really don’t have to drive anywhere. There are also good and easy bus links into Bournemouth and Poole and there are 2 restaurants walking distance away for evening meals (one child friendly) and there are also lunch options at either Haven cafe by the ferry, or the Sandbanks cafe (bit further of a walk). We got parked OK and then just didn’t move the car after that - either walked or took buses. Would recommend 😊 ##### Fiona T. This is a beautiful apartment, very modern, spacious and clean, fantastic view overlooking the sea. The location is great, 2 minutes to the beach, Tesco Express is a nice 20 minute walk along the harbour. We had a mixed week of weather some beach days and plenty of trips to surrounding areas. The Jurassic Coast Boat Trip was nice for a day out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately stay here again. ##### Hayley N. Literally a couple minutes walk to the beach, the quieter end of the beach near the ferry which we prefer! The apartment was airy, spacious and clean. So handy having a washing machine and dishwasher! Parking was no problem, we got a space every time. It suited our needs perfectly and we would happily stay again :) ##### Helen R.
