"The hotel is combined with a pub so food is very convenient and they are good quality. The only issue we experienced is the noise from the pub and maybe from the street into late night."

"First off all this place and house ws beautiful 😍 and nice and clean 👌 we had lovely time there and we found everything there clean beds ,cleaned all rooms and kitchen. Outside view very beautiful 😍 definitely I'm going again this house and you will find lovely places around few minutes and coffee ☕️ shops and takeaway restaurants."

"Amazing! Helens' cottage is beautiful. A hidden gem, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious ,clean ,and everything you need is there and all good quality. Don't let the 4ft bed put you off, it's so comfy and you'd be missing out on a fantastic break. It's peaceful, amazing views, walks. Only a short walk to Llangollen, such a pretty town. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it .Helens' attention to detail is no less than perfect."

"Despite the weather which was really wet for 2 1/2 days, we enjoyed our stay and the area is wonderful. Despite the huge space, the kitchen area is tight around the sink and cooker, and the sink is quite shallow. Not much room for storing toiletries in a couple of the en-suites, but these are quite minor points. The owner was fabulous and extremely helpful. North Wales is beautiful and the Llangollen railway quite enchanting."
