It is good to know that you will either need to pay 90 euro for a taxi to take you here or have your own car. I went horseback riding for 50 euro and wine tasting for 25 euro. At the right time of year, you can also go on a truffle tour in the forest nearby. The pool and the available excursions made it very enjoyable. Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. It would have been nice to know this prior to our stay because it lead to a bit of disappointment. It would also be nice if they were more up front with the costs of excursions and drinks by the pool. The was also no air conditioning and the rooms were very warm for September. The pool was beautiful (and cold but this was welcome on a hot day!). My only criticism is that check out was a bit early, at 10am. I don’t think 10am is that early but in our case we didn’t check in until 7:30pm the night before so it would have been nice to have a bit more time. In saying that, we were allowed to use the pool after check out, so this was a bonus!
