It was secluded, which is what I wanted. The knives needed replacing, and the pillows were lumpy. The shower was excellent. The wildlife was beautiful - deers, emus, kangas and birds. I did not think it was worth the price though, especially as I was there during non peak season. There was no much shade around, which I understand due to potential bush fire threat, but some shade around the accommodation would be good. Also, I wanted to be close to the walking tracks near the Grampians, it was not a 1 min walk to the tracks as advertised online. The villa was very modern and open planned with a free standing bath and a seperate ensuite with a large shower. It was also well equipped with a kitchenette and laundry facilities. The view from the veranda was very peaceful, looking out over an wide open area with the Grampians in the background. The villas are located a few kilometres out of Hall Gap, where there are many restaurants and cafes if you want to eat out. Received a detailed and warm text message from the owners of the property explaining well prior, how to get there, how to access our villa and a little about the property. Once we arrived we found everything to be well above expectation. The place was exactly what we were after, first and foremost it was clean, maintenance free, quiet and we weren't on top of other travelers. We had our own space, able to walk with the local fauna and in close proximity to all of the Grampian attractions. For us we were truly able to unwind at our own pace. This place was the perfect choice for our anniversary weekend away! Quiet, peaceful, romantic & the most beautiful scenery to look at while enjoying a glass of red on the deck. The facilities were exceptional (name it, they had it), including a bathtub at the end of the king size bed!! Lovely amenities and setting. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a special getaway.
