"I don't want to tell anyone about this great cabin because I want it to always be available for me! It's a perfect getaway cabin near Carbondale, Giant City, and the wine trail. Steve was a great host. The cabin is well appointed with 2 gorgeous bathrooms. The outdoor space is maximized with a large hot tub and outdoor grill and fire pit. We loved soaking and looking at the stars. With a college student at SIUC and mile's of trails to be explored, we will definitely be back."

"needed extra bedding for sleeper sofa and house keeper brought it to room after i was told by the front desk that they were to busy to deliver to the room this housekeeper asked if she could help me with anything while i was waiting for elevator and i explained to her what front desk said and she told me to go back to my room and she would bring it which she did with in a few minutes"

"I travel often but I have never been treated with such respect as I was during this stay at this motel. If I could give 10 stars I would!! Due to physical reasons I needed a fan. Not only did the staff try to get the room cooler but also retrieved a fan with no charge. They truly care about their customers. Great job!!"

"Good value. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was gone by 6:30 am. It was either eaten by hungry travelers or stolen by a homeless person. There were only like 7 other people there and no one was up when I was leaving. The front desk is not staffed "
