We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone looking in the area.That said, I was disappointed with the communication after checkout. I accidentally left behind a hat that has sentimental value (my husband wore it when he officiated our niece’s wedding). I reached out as soon as I realized (we left at 8am, well before check out and I realized around when we would have normally checked out at 11am) even offering for my aunt, who lives nearby (4 mins away), to pick it up. The host initially replied that he would check with the cleaners, but after that I never received a follow-up despite two messages.I understand it was my mistake to leave something behind, but a simple response (even if the item wasn’t found) would have gone a long way. ##### Wyatt B.
