The combination of an elegant Mallorcan traditional decoration with the modern equipment of the house makes 'Villa Padrina' an ideal house to spend your holidays. The house, which was 500 years old, belonged to the Knights Templar in Pollença. It is located a few steps from the center of Pollença, where you can enjoy all the services and events that Pueblo offers, at any time of the year. The emblematic house has 4 bedrooms with cot, fitted kitchen, living room, projection room (tv), a patio and excellent mountain views from the terrace with barbecue. Villa Padrina enjoys unlimited free WiFi access for your use. All bedrooms include hot / cold air conditioning. To enhance your comfort, they are available to be used at any time during the day and night. Upon entering the house, on the right is the screening room, you can enjoy its comfortable sofas and have a drink while entertaining with a television with movies and satellite TV. If you go straight, you will find the living room and the kitchen, fully equipped, which has a pantry with all the furniture and accessories. The kitchen is traditional with stoves, where food is cooked in the most natural way. On the right there is a door that leads to the patio, where the staircase will take you to each of the rooms, this is a way to access them. In the dining room there is an internal staircase that will take you to each of the rooms. The two double rooms have large double beds, with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Sheets, covers and cushions are provided. The space is enough in each to leave the suitcases and has lockers to order your clothes. The single rooms have large single beds, with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Sheets, covers and cushions are provided and there is also enough space for suitcases. It has furniture to accommodate clothes. The two bathrooms of the Villa Padrina are fully equipped on the day of check-in with essential bathroom, carpets to get out of the shower. One is in a corridor, up the stairs of the patio and the other one is inside the house. The first has a shower, toilet and bidet; The second is a sink without bidet with bathroom plus. From the upper terrace, where you can see the whole city of Pollença, you can enjoy a good barbecue, take the best of traditional Mallorcan Mediterranean food that can be bought in 1 minute at the Calvario store. There you will be recommended the best selection of products! From 'Villa Padrina' is seconds from the center of Pollença: baths, shops, cultural centers, Pollença market and museums are some of the services you can access.It is worth mentioning that it is only 10 minutes by car from the nearest beach and 5 minutes from the bus stop, for those who decide to arrive by this means. In Cala Sant Vicenç (or simply Cala, as it is known by the locals) there is a small supermarket, several small restaurants that offer a variety of gastronomic experiences and even a couple of bars. There are four small coves and two main beach areas. Cala Sant Vicenç has spectacular views and crystal clear waters. It's perfect for people enjoying houses with a soul decorated with local taste, with a direct access to the historic center. However, might not be best suited for travelers looking for standardized facilities or with low mobility. We loved the place and the kids did too. They could run in the stairs, have their own bedrooms, liked that you had to go on the terrace to go to the bathroom. Of course, we loved the roof top with a breathtaking view on the region. One down point: be ready to clim up stairs! The kitchen is on the ground flour, and the terrace is on the third floor! This is not the most convenient to convey plates, food and drinks, but the view deserves some sacrifices. ##### Alexandre H. Das Haus liegt mitten in der Altstadt. Jetzt im Oktober war es abends nicht laut, obwohl unsere Schlafzimmer zu einem Platz mit Restaurants ausgerichtet waren. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küchenausstattung ist beachtlich. Von der Bushaltestelle in Pollença (7 Minuten Fussweg) kommt man sehr gut und günstig nach Palma, Port de Pollença, Alcudia, Formentor, Lluc. Mit dem Auto muss man auf einem größeren Parkplatz am Ortsrand parken (ca. 8 Min Fußweg). Das Haus ist für Familien oder mit Freunden geeignet. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern vielleicht aufgrund vieler relativ steiler Treppen nicht so empfehlenswert. Pollença hat uns als Stadt sehr gefallen. Anche essendo un una zona centrale non si sente il trambusto né di giorno né di notte. Il proprietario è una persona molto genitile e carina e sia lui che l'agenzia sono stati molto disponibili. La casa si sviluppa su tre piani con 4 stanze e un terrazzo molto bello. L'unica nota un po' negativa è che in alcune cose avrebbe bisogno di qualche aggiustatina come i materassi del letto... Nel complesso è stata comunque una bella esperienza e un bel soggiorno, molto comodo per chi vuole essere in un piccolo centro e raggiungere le spiagge di Maiorca ##### Martina C. We had a great 5 days at this place. The apartment is centrally located right at the beautiful Calvari stairs and just a short walk from some nice plazas with good restaurants. We especially enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners on the huge roof terrace with 360 degree views over the town. Parking is a bit of an issue as the streets are super narrow and there's no parking spaces near the house, so we had to park our car on the (free) parking space which was a 5-10 minutes walk. However, Guillem, our super friendly host, took our luggage to and from the apartment on arrival and departure, so we did not have to carry big loads. Negative points to mention may be that the floors of the rooms and terrace were not very clean, that the rooms are a bit dark side, and that the toilet downstairs (there's a better one in the upstairs fully equiped bathroom) needs some renovation. Overall, however, the place is good value for the price (especially if you use all bedrooms as a family/group) and we would recommend staying here. ##### Walter S.
