This large three-storey house built on a sloping plot and perfectly adapted to the environment has beautiful and spacious terraces that offer stunning views of the surroundings, the village and the mountains. The outdoor areas of the house are undoubtedly the most striking of the house, we can enjoy a pleasant garden, the private pool and spaces for al fresco dining or relax. The house offers a distribution of rooms suitable for a large family or group of friends, with four bedrooms in total, three of them located on the lower floor with shared bathroom. One of the bedrooms is ideal for children as it has a bunk bed and a trundle bed. All bedrooms on this floor have direct access to the garden and pool. The master bedroom is on the top floor. It is a wonderful room with en suite bathroom, living room, air conditioning and private terrace. The intermediate floor that is the access to the house is destined for social environments, having large kitchen with dining room and a cozy corner separated from the rest of the kitchen by a screen, ideal to read or to have a coffee, plus a living room with fireplace, ideal place to slacken and finally a toilet. Both spaces have access to 72 m² terrace equipped with table and chairs to eat and sofas to relax. The house is equipped with central heating. In this large house you will discover the value of the traditional and you will enjoy peace and choices that a municipality that looks after its history and traditions and people. You can walk to the center where are most of the shops, restaurants and services of Pollensa. Pollensa is a charming town with an artistic and cultural tradition in all areas, from the International Festival of music, art galleries, good local and international cuisine ... ... At about 6 km you will find the best tourist offer of the area, beaches, leisure, sports, etc A short distance from the house is the famous Calvary, a small mountain which can be accessed by car or on foot. It consists of 365 steps, one for each day of the year. This long staircase runs uphill ascending the Monte del Calvario until reaching the top where there is a beautiful panoramic view of the town and a hermitage with oratory dating from the eighteenth century. On the rise on both sides stylized cypresses, some crosses (the Via Crucis style) and facades of the low houses of the place can be seen. A somewhat dizzy feeling when you turn around whatching the distance traveled and the village with the mountain behind. The steps are smooth and along the way you can rest without any problem. From above a new landscape opens before the gaze, part of the coast. The decor is beautiful with a lovely mix of modern/hacienda style. The kitchen and dining facilities were perhaps the best we’ve ever encountered in many years of renting villas, with more than enough crockery, glassware, tableware, pots and pans, etc, for our party of seven … and the knives were sharp! Having access to a well-stocked larder was unexpected but delightfully received. We know Pollenca well and the views from the villa were outstanding. The walk down to the old town through the narrow streets was lovely, but it takes a little bit more energy walking back up to the hillside location. There is no dedicated parking but we mostly got parked right outside the villa. However, arriving after dark like some of our guests did might present a bit of a driving challenge negotiating the tight, dark streets, so maybe best to rent a car on the smaller side of things. The villa really is wonderful, though, and we’ll definitely be back. ##### alan g.
