In the winter you can enjoy skiing at Maverick Mountain Ski Resort, cross country skiing or snowmobiling on miles of trails and then head over to Elkhorn Hotsprings for a hot soak all within minutes of the house. In the summer enjoy exploring the Pioneer Mountains hiking, biking, horseback riding or fishing in the many streams and lakes in the area. The first skimo race for Maverick and they were great hosts. Highly recommend checking out this small, family friendly ski resort with good food at the lodge. The house was perfect for our group and it was nice being only 4 miles from the ski area. Lots of well plowed parking, spacious house, has everything you need for a great weekend with friends. We also went to Elk Horn Hot Springs (6 miles) and had a nice soak followed by dinner at the Elk Horn Lodge. Hope to return next year! ##### Tana S. I understand the owner uses the house, but I feel privacy is expected when you rent a vacation house. We did enjoy our stay, except for the intrusion of 7-8 people. ##### Karen K.
