Location & Accessibility  
Daisy at The Big House is ideally located for exploring Lake Como:  
\- 20 minutes by car to Como town and 25 minutes to Bellagio.  
\- Bus C30 stop is just 150 meters away, connecting you to Como, Bellagio, and many more Lake towns. Travel time to Como town 25-30 min, Bellagio 30-35 min.   
\- Public boat dock is a short 100-meter walk, offering scenic rides to nearby villages as well as Como town and Bellagio  
Please note: Lake Como’s hilly terrain as part of the lower Alps mountain range means stairs are part of the charm. There is a series of steps leading to Daisy at The Big House and down to the lake shore. For those comfortable with a bit of climbing, the reward is well worth it!

Let Daisy at The Big House be your home away from home on Lake Como. From its historic charm to its luxurious amenities, every detail is designed to make your stay unforgettable.  
  
All spaces at Daisy at The Big House are for you to enjoy. The only shared spaces (with 2 other units) is the garden and the common terraces.  
There are 5 public parking lots in the area (all complimentary), the closest being 3 min walk and the furthest about 8 min walk. NB - during the summer months be aware that it gets busy around here, but between the 5 lots, you should always be able to find a spot for your car.   
The public boat dock is literally 3 minutes away, down the stairs and during the high-season from April to October the service runs more or less regularly (the best way to travel around the Lake!:)  
The C30 bus (that goes to both Como town and Bellagio and many other small towns along the way) has a stop just up the stairs on the main road (3-5 min walk up the stairs from Daisy at The Big House).  
  
As passionate hosts, our mission is to provide the very best experience to all our guests.  
  
Our aim is to be present, available and respond quickly when you need us but to give you your space and privacy to relax and be to yourself if you wish to do so.

Pognana Lario is an ancient small sleepy town, conveniently located between Como and Bellagio. It has a very laid back atmosphere. Picturesque Torno is only a 10 minute drive. The Public boat dock from where you can take the ferry to Como or Bellagio, for example, is only 2 min walking down the stairs. Bus stop to Como and Bellagio is within 5 min walk up the stairs :). There is a grocery shop (and a butcher) with everything you need and a great café bar a few minutes walk from Daisy as well as a few nice restaurants within the vicinity. Pognana also offers a great base for hikes along the famous "Strada Vecchia Regina". Pognana Lario's slogan is: ''Best sunset views at Lake Como'' and Daisy (as part of our Big House) truly lives up to it :)  
  
Easily reached by boat, bus and car. Plenty of hiking and walking routes nearby, as well as 2 lake bathing spots in the village of Pognana. There are 5 small public (free) parking lots in the vicinity (the closest one is about 5 min walk down / up the stairs) but please keep in mind that they get full pretty quickly, particularly in the summer months.  
  
If you need airport transfer or would like to make arrangements for a special occasion like for example a bottle of prosecco, flowers, cake, please dont hesitate to let us know.
