Several issues with home utilities and appliances were present upon our arrival. Management company was very responsive but some concerns need to be addressed beyond our stay. We always hit the poconos in the fall, and this house was cool. Beautiful back yard right on summit lake. We enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub and fireplaces. Abundance of firewood, little private dock was nice, saw lots of wildlife. Gorgeous sunrises and even a rainbow right over the lake. House was nice, we spent most of our time out back. Not enough space for personal items storage so you need to keep everything in your luggage except there are lots of hangers to use. We did fishing and caught many small ones, go kayaking to explore the lake and used the fire pit lighten our night time family together! The only thing that kept us from giving a full 5 star rating is the lack of functionality in a few areas. The biggest one being the little to none clothing storage. There were no dressers, most rooms didn't have a closet, and those that did only had a couple hangers. We pretty much had to live out of our suitcases which was disappointing. Same with the bathrooms - there was no place to be able to put your things other than a very small shelf which isn't reasonable for a home that's supposed to suit 8 people. Don't get me wrong - the house is absolutely beautiful! But if felt like a "staged home" in a lot of ways that isn't always the most functional. HOWEVER, we still had a lovely time and really enjoyed many things about the home: electric fireplace, smart thermostat, hot tub, fire pit, easily accessible dock (even caught a few fish!), etc. Just add a bit more functional items and storage and it would be absolutely perfect! ##### Becki H.
