Staff were friendly and accommodating. Difficulty with wifi access due to location…

"Not what We expected!? We actually had to leave, right-then-and-there (after talking to Jean) b/c we just couldn't stay there, "at all", under those conditions! The initial overview (in website @ booking) of the property details are vague, the website never says, a "detached bathroom", (we couldn't find that detail in the "details" of property. That was the 1st issue! The 2nd issue, was The compost toilet, no deal on that for that amount of money/night! 3rd issue, The paddle boat (as part of the rental pckg) was filthy, mildewy, full of rain water, no deal using that either!, 4th issue, No "privacy fence around hot-tub", no deal! especially when the property owner is only "75yrds away" from our point-of-view! 5th issue, having to see, a broken-down old, utility-truck in your view, as your coming down the driveway, (not very inviting) plus, the property itself... 6th issue...looks very unkept, un-tidy, & un-inviting. So, a waste of our 2 hour drive, and a waste of spent I'll never probably see. no stars "

"I’ve had experiences before where the listing photos oversell a property, but this booking is honest and spectacular. The house is exactly as it seems. The biggest plus is how communicative Sam is from the time you book until the time you checkout. I didn’t have a single reason to reach out during our stay, but if I did, I know they’d respond right away based on how our communications went leading up to the trip. I would stay here again. "

"This property was very clean , spacious, warm and inviting. It has lots of great amenities. Everything worked , water temp and pressure was great and the energy of the home was peaceful. The host responds quickly, friendly and provided extra details, I definitely recommend this property 10/10"
"We had a great stay here this week. We had 10 people and yet it fit all of us while still feeling cozy, and even started to feel like home to us for a little bit. Owner is very quick with communication and made the experience pretty much everything we could ask for. "
"Spent the weekend here for my birthday with my best friend and god daughter. It was very relaxing. House was beautiful and just as pictured in the listing. The only issue we ran into was that it was very dark outside at night. They did have string lights up however we could not get them to turn on using the timer as instructed. We ended up taking a lightbulb out of one of the lamps and put it in the outside light fixture so that we could see when we used the hot tub. Definitely plan on staying here again later this summer. Make sure to stop at the big bass beach. Very nice and kid friendly. The game room in the house is also pretty great. The weather sucked - and we still had a great time in the house. "
