House is located in Arrowhead Lake, private gated community where you can enjoy access to four beaches and three outdoor pools in summer as well as all year access to the community Lodge House with fitness center, pool tables in welcome center etc... You may also enjoy gorgeous fall foliage, two nearby ski resorts in winter, casino etc. Or just hang out by the fireplace, or cook some dinner in the well-appointed kitchen, and chill. The main living space features a comfortable dining room with 6 to 8 people table, living room centered around a gas fireplace (gas fireplace is turned off for the summer season), convertible couch easy to change to queen size bed, complete with smart TV with firestick that give you access to hundreds of movies, shows, live tv, as well as possibility to log to your Netflix, HULU etc. High-speed wireless internet is provided. Open concept kitchen and laundry nook. One of the most unique features of this house is four seasons playroom, great for family entertainment, with a foosball table, electronic dartboard, fridge, bar and direct exit to an outdoor porch with a 6-chair table (furniture from the deck is put away for a winter until the weather is good enough to bring it back) and beautiful private backyard with wood burning firepit, many space to seat around, picnic table and barbeque grill. Whole property is backed to the woods. First-floor bedroom includes one queen size bed, dresser with a mirror, two nightstands and walk in closet. Upstairs bedrooms: one with a queen size bed, nightstands and walk in closet. Second with a full-size bed, twin size bunk beds and spacious closet. On both floors you will find a full bathroom with a bathtub shower. Also, upstairs is a loft with a daybed that you can easily convert to a full-size bed, shelf with many board games, books and TV with PlayStation 360\. We kindly ask to MAKE SURE THAT THE BACKYARD LIGHTS ARE TURNED OFF FOR THE NIGHT, WHEN YOU DON'T USE BACKYARD AREA. Leaving those lights on all night is community rules violation for light pollution and result in fine of 50 to 150 dollars (which if occurs will be added to guest additional fees) For security purposes we have one front, outdoor (only) camera pointed at the driveway. This is a vacation home, so it is installed for the security of the home when we have no guests. Detached GARAGE is NOT part of a rental property, it is where the owners keep their private stuff. My son and his kids very much eyed riding the golf cart to the swimming spots and back. The hostess was very responsive to the one question I asked after we arrived. The family loved the environment. The host supplied plenty of everything-kitchen supplies towels, sheets, blankets, games, etc. One thing that didn't work out as well as we had hoped for was the weather - too much rain - couldn't do anything about that and certainly not the fault of the host! ##### Bob R. Communication with the host was always clear and quick. The house was so clean, it was very well stocked, it had something for everyone. More than enough space for our stuff. Outdoor patio was beautiful and peaceful. Everyone had a good time in the house and at the pool, beach and lake. The golf cart along with the bikes, and gamed were a huge plus. Having wood for the outdoor fire pit was another plus. The game room with mini fridge was yet another plus. Very well maintained home. ##### Martha T. My family and I celebrated my birthday, and spent both nights around the firepit relaxing. Saturday we hiked the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area, and then stopped by a local flea market. I’m a clean freak and always ended up doing my own cleaning at these rentals, well for this one, I didn’t have to clean ANYTHING! Everything was so clean (-: My boys (ages 18 and 11) enjoyed the golf cart and were very comfortable in the house! Be prepared for having trouble waking up in the morning because all the beds are so comfortable! The communication with the host was great since the very first inquiry I made about this property! We just enjoyed a fantastic stay at Las Hideaway in the Arrowhead Lake Community. Our house was extremely clean and well stocked, and the host did an outstanding job communicating with us right up until we checked in for our weekend stay. We loved the house, and it had a great location in Lake Arrowhead. We recommend Las Hideaway to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Poconos and will definitely stay there again if given a chance. The house was neat and clean, exactly as described. We really enjoyed using the board games, foosball and darts, as well as the fire pit in the backyard where we made smores. The development is also great - we loved using the golf cart and took advantage of the lake, including the beach and boat rentals. It’s awesome that we had beach chairs, beach towels, even marshmallow sticks there for us to use. It was lovely family time! Communication prior to our arrival was clear and useful, we didn’t need to communicate during our stay because there were no issues! ##### Susan M. The owner provided clear directions on how to access the community (welcome center provides a card for gate access), etc. We enjoyed a delicious brunch at the beautiful community lodge. The house was perfect for us. Everyone had their own bedroom, the house was full of games (the foosball table was a BIG hit), the large couch in the living room was accommodating for all of us while we watched movies. The fireplace added a cozy ski weekend feeling. THe neighborhood was quiet. We didn't get to use the backyard/firepit, etc. because there was plenty of snow!
