A perfect home base for exploring our beautiful wine region. Located in downtown Plymouth, you are only a five minute drive to 45 wineries and tasting rooms in the Shenandoah Valley and only 15 minutes from Fairplay. The house is also only an hour s drive to Kirkwood ski resort, so you can ski or snowboard in between days of wine tasting! The house is walking distance to the Amador County Fairgrounds, the Amador Brewery, and Taste Restaurant. A home away from home! Large comfortable living room and chefs kitchen make it easy to have a night in and relax, while the proximity to town urges you to go out and explore. BBQ area and fire pit provide a lovely outdoor atmosphere during the beautiful Amador County nights! When Wayne and I aren't traveling, we occasionally stay in a small studio we have fixed up in the garage. Beds were comfy, house was very clean. The welcome wine bottle was a nice touch! The kitchen was large, so a few of us could be cooking and using together no problem. Location was PERFECT. We did a lot of wine tasting north of Plymouth but also traveled to Sutter Creek and other small towns so location was very central for all of that. In general it was a good proximity to a lot of great places. When it said five minutes from the brewery I was picturing it being more walkable but we would’ve had to walk along the highway to get to the various restaurants. ##### April S. So warm and comfortable supplied with so many extra touches. The three of us each had a spacious, well-furnished bedroom. The tv was even set up for us to watch movies and shows on prime apps. So glad that we were able to bring our little beagle with us. The house was close enough to many of the local wineries, 7-10 minutes away, 10 minutes from the quaint town of Sutter Creek.
