Charming antique boat house located directly on Long Pond. Quiet, peaceful accommodations with 180 views. Watch the American Bald Eagles and Osprey search for fish at dusk from your private deck that reaches out over the pond. Long Pond is full recreation, and kayaks are available. Hiking, bicycling, golfing, fishing, swimming, boating, snorkeling, sunbathing, and napping are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed in the quaint, semi-private, pond-front accommodation. We are just 2 miles from the Pinehills golf courses, 6 miles from White Horse Beach, 7 miles from Pine Hills mountain bike trails, and 8 miles from downtown Plymouth where you can go whale watching, deep sea fishing, take the ferry to Provincetown, or attend many of our tourist attractions.We are just 10 miles from the Cape Cod Canal. Children over 5 are welcome. The boathouse has two rooms. The main cabin has a kitchen with a four burner stove top, double-sink, microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. In the living room area there is a kitchen table, cozy sofa, and La-Z-boy recliner. Double glass doors open to a 12' x 12' deck that is directly over the pond. The bathroom is small and quaint. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and a daybed. The boathouse is located on shared property with the main house that is occupied by the owners. Super relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for. In the woods right on the water all kinds of wildlife quiet no one bothering you. AC kept the house nice and cool Spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the pond(large pond more like a lake) The hosts were great didn’t see much of them after arriving nice people left us alone. Would definitely come back Perfect for a couple nice kitchen great views from inside Deck right on the water Bathroom is small but served it’s purpose Did I mention wonderful views!!!!! We are ages 89 and 84 and this is the very best place we have ever stayed on vacation!!!!!! Over the years we have stayed at dozens of cottages all over New England. The boat house is our very favorite place and we are hoping to stay again next year!!! You step out of the living room right onto the dock where you can fish a few feet from the door. Lynn and Jack were wonderful hosts. Everything was immaculate and the boat house had everything you could possibly need. On a scale of one to ten, we give it 100\. Bob and Joyce ##### Robert M. My husband and I spent a relaxing long weekend in this unique little boathouse. Two days were spent kayaking and enjoying the views from our deck and the third we headed into Plymouth ( 15 minute drive ). We chose to stay in for our early meals and enjoyed our dinners at Rye, Black Lantern Tavern and Surfside Smokehouse, which were a quick car ride away. Sadly the rain prevented us from walking the nearby trails but a good book, a deck of cards, and a few games of checkers made for a pleasant passage of time. Lynn greeted us, explained what was needed and, although the hosts are also on the property, allowed us our privacy. It was obvious that if we needed anything, they would have been very accomodating. So glad we found this gem! ##### Andrea W. My husband and I spent two nights at this wonderful boathouse by the water. Jack and Lynn were amazing hosts and thought of everything. The boathouse has everything you need and we felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture in the living room was also extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The dock was the best part and so peaceful to just sit and listen to the birds and watch the ducks. You literally are on the water and it was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed having the use of the kayaks. It was a perfect getaway and we didn’t want to leave.
