« We absolutely loved the location of the cottage with fantastic views of the lake from almost every room. It was quiet and we felt safe there. The cottage was nicely decorated and looks to have been updated recently. Gaining access was very easy and customized to us. The owner, Ben, was very responsive to our needs. « We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. « This cottage is like going to your favorite aunt’s country home. A book full of information and a tray with local coffee and tea and all fixings for pancakes greeted us. We ate all our breakfasts and a few other meals at the house. We used the laundry and enjoyed the lawn chairs. The living room couches were comfortable .The stairs are steep to the upstairs bedrooms and would be a challenge for some people. We had a great visit in Maine and this lovely house was a great place to stay. »
