He showed us to our room and then gave us a brief introduction to Plitvice National Park and suggestions on how best to explore it. He was bang on. He then gave us directions to entrance 2 to the park, about a 20 minute walk through the village and along a path through the woods. Overall the property is very well looked after and conveniently located for visiting the park. The owner advised how to tour the Plitvice National Park. We followed his advice and left our car at the hotel parking lot and walked to the entrance 2. It was a 25-min beautiful walk through the woods. We toured the upper lakes area first, took a boat, had a lunch and toured the lower lakes area. Although the hotel does not have any restaurant, we went to a very nice restaurant on both nights, just 2 minutes away via car. I was able to get useful tips from him. Close to the parking lot 1 & 2 of the national park by car within 3-5 mins. (Even walkable to the park in 20-30 mins. The accommodation itself is very cozy and quiet. Also, clean. Good to feel the refresh vibes of nature of Croatia. You literally can’t get any closer to the park entrance. Owner greeted us when we arrived and helped us plan our visit to the park the next day.
