"While the property was recently renovated. Everything is clean and beautiful. But in the rooms they put down throw rugs to use getting in and out of bed. These rugs ARE dangerous, because they slip and slide. Which I believe is going to eventually cause injury to someone. I almost fell getting out of bed. The rug shifted under me and I had to grab the bed to keep from hitting the floor."

"I paid for two rooms but they put the two rooms on totally separate floors. The elevator sounded like it was going to just completely fall apart. The key cards constantly stop working and we had to constantly go back down to the front desk to get a new key card. The WiFi doesn’t work, unless you want to sit in the lobby that is. The building stunk throughout and smoking in rooms was not monitored and constantly smelled like weed on the second floor. The AC unit sounded terrible when it decided to turn on and work. The pool was a pain in butt to even get into bc the keycard lock sucked or the door was broken, I really have no clue. Water just puddles up around the outside of the pool and was VERY slippery. A child hit his head in the pool and the front desk showed no concern for the blood coming out of the child’s head and said all she could do was call the ambulance but didn’t have an incident report or anything to document what happened. Someone also fell in the lobby and it was the same issue. I will not be going back. The breakfast was about the only thing that we all liked."

"The hotel feels like you’ve stepped into the 1930’s! The art deco vibes are to die for. The staff was incredible & went out of their way to make our anniversary weekend a special stay. 10/10 would recommend! "

"I went to Redrocf on 6109 East 43rd Street The clerk came out very disrespectful in talking crazy and I already paid for my room alone he had before my ID in my card I said you don't need my ID my card because all you need is an itinerary number cuz I've already paid for the room so I stayed the same hotel last week we want to do one and I did have to pay a f****** deposit so being him going back and forth I said I got $6 cash that's what I want to take no money off my car no more I don't see why I got the cash I don't have to use my card so and see as I give him the card my account card and my ID he mumbles up the depression calls me a broke ass n***** "
