"The food was really good, and even though reservations to restaurants seemed booked at the start, there were plenty of cancellations and we were able to get reservations at the times and restaurants of our choice almost every time. The a la carte option was always great, though, so you don’t even need to worry about reservations. The pool activities were super fun and we loved playing beach volleyball with other guests. Our favorites were The Good Bar, the health juice bar, the crepes at the main buffet, the spa, the dolphins, the snorkeling, and general safe and beautiful ambiance. We had a great stay and we’re sad to leave. Ricardo, one of the bellhops, hooked us up with a rental car so we could explore Akumal Beach, Playa del Carmen, and other spots on our own. So much to do at the resort though, so no real need to leave. Would definitely recommend with or without kids. "

"Kenddalicious on the blue team is amazing!!! He is genuine, gets to know everyone and remembers their name. He has lots of energy and everyone lights up when they see him. He is the reason we came back to this resort. There are others that make this place special as well but he is the one that truly cares about his job and the people. "

"Lots of wildlife and jungle. Food was very good. There was lots of shade around the pool. The room was very nice, clean and well maintained. The maid service for the room was exceptional! The night entertainment was very well done as well, especially the Michael Jackson impersonator! The restaurant situation was ridiculous. You have to wake up at midnight to make a reservation or you risk not getting one, and now you can only reserve four times a week. This means you are in the buffet for almost half your trip which was not disclosed until we got there. Don't expect to sit a group of eight together for meals. You can only reserve 6 maximum and they really don't seem to want to help you sit with any of your family not staying in your room. They don't follow their own activity schedule as far as activities during the day. For instance, they have water volleyball scheduled for noon everyday written on every sign pertaining to such things, yet not once in the 9 days we were there did that actually happen. They few days they actually bothered doing it they either had it at eleven am or four pm with no announcement of schedule change. It was the first resort where i felt like I was treated like just a stupid tourist who didn't really know what they wanted so any answer to shut me up would work. "
