"This place is absolutely amazing! It is a very small boutique hotel, and has a private gate that takes you down to the beach. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was kept up beautifully. The food was excellent and the beach is unbelievable! At any given time, I don't think there were more than a dozen people on the beach with us. I cannot recommend enough! If you're thinking of going to Tamarindo, skip it and book here or at their sister Hotel. Playa Grande beats...

"Our room was absolute barebones !!!! No chair no hanging cupboard, no night lamps, no tv, no tea or coffee facilities, no decoration of any kind, two wooden boxes for bed stands !!! No cups or glasses for water. Bathroom the same, bad smell from shower, no water pressure, toilet cistern faulty, had to open tank to get floater valve to work. No cupboard beneath the sink, bordered up, no place to put toiletries, tiles unfinished in shower !!!!"
