You’ll also find bike and scooter rentals perfect for short rides around town or along the coast. Taxis are easy to find but don’t use meters, so always confirm the price before the ride. For budget-friendly day trips, colectivos (shared vans) run regularly to Tulum, Akumal, and nearby cenotes. If you're planning to explore beyond Playa, rental cars are a great option just keep in mind that parking in the city center can be limited.

This unit does not include private parking. Street parking is available with a parking meter system:  
Hours: 10 AM – 10 PM, every day  
Rate: 10 MXN per hour  
Payment: At street terminals (cash) or easily via the MueveCiudad app (credit/debit card).
