What was advertised in the pictures is not what we got. We got a dirty, dingy, smelly. Tiny room. Beds super hard, towels super dingy and old. We had to convince the attendant to give us new ones. The walls were super dirty, tiles in the bathroom falling off. Faucets and sink had left over toothpaste and soap from the previous renter. We do own we were not aware of it being situated in the middle of 5th ave—smack in the middle of the busy strip. We were totally taken advantage of at 150 per night, boy was it a pig sty. For 160 per night we rented a room at the Hyatt in Merida for our next part of our trip. Terrible place Mayab hotel. Disgusting.

This property is right on 5th avenue. Entrance is on 2nd st North, pretty close to 5th Avenue. Balcony faces 5th avenue and is pretty loud late into the night. If sound bothers you, you should reconsider. wifi is pretty good speed. Room is small but comfortable for 2. AC worked well, staff is friendly. Easy to get in and get out. Nothing fancy about this place but budget friendly and all the dining options available to you on 5th Ave.

Hay humedad en las paredes, la cama es súper pequeña. La ventaja es que está en 5ta avenida. Si lo que buscas es relajarte, comodidad y confort no rentes aquí pero si vas solo o con tu pareja y van de fiesta y solo quieren un lugar donde pasar la noche por unas horas es adecuado, a unas cuadras está el ferry. Abajo del hotel estan bares y restaurantes de la 5ta avenida por lo que la música no te permitirá dormir

Los cuartos son limpios y amplios,de mucha ayuda el refrigerador,aire acondicionado excelente,TV de cable con Bluetooth para música,nunca me pudieron dar la clave del Netflix,la alberca nunca estuvo en funcionamiento por remodelación y eso que estuve 10 días desde el 13 de noviembre al 23 del 2023,a fin de cuentas buen lugar para estar en la misma 5ta avenida ir de fiesta e ir a la playa a sólo una cuadra.

No es lo que publican en foto el lugar está deteriorado y no funciona la alberca y no lo indicaron para darme oportunidad a reservar en otro lado, el baño algo sucio y no me dieron el 1er día shampo ni jabón de baño
