HOW TO GET THERE: From Santa Marta take a bus from the Terminal De Transporte to Riohacha (3hr). A taxi from Riohacha to Uribia (1hr). Finally jump in a colectivo to Cabo Del La Vela (1hr bumpy 4x4 ride). Rough cost 55,000COP. To reach Pilon de Azucar (featured) just grab a cheap moto taxi from Cabo town. WHERE TO STAY: Riohacha - To break up the journey check into Hammocks Hostel. Cabo Del La Vela - Hammocks line the beach.
