"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

The location was great- had to drive to Samara (can only walk to town via the beach at low tide or on the road, which we weren’t comfortable doing). Samara beach was max 5 minutes walk. A very short drive to Carrillo beach, which was our favourite of the 5 beaches we visited. Easy day trip to Playa Guiones (Nosara). The Hideaway Hotel next door was really convenient if we wanted a meal or drink and didn’t want to drive anywhere. The entire booking and check in/out process was smooth and the property manager was available at all times. "
