It was clean, bed was comfy, air conditioner was cool; microwave,fridge, & coffee maker in room. Easy check in. Staff were kind & professional. Convenient location, easy parking. The only thing bad was the train that passes close by. Very loud horn. Maybe bring some earplugs

I usually come here when I visit Galveston. Reasonably priced, good breakfast, and nice staff. This time around I'm not sure why but it was hard to get towels. They only had one big towel for 4 people in the room and when I requested for more they said they were having towel shortages and had to wait all day to get towels. Rooms and around the property could be cleaner. There was a baby roach in the bathroom so that's not a good sign. In all nice people that work there and convenient location close to the beach and restaurants but next time buy more towels and clean better please.

Hope you like trains coming through at 3am.
The hotel was fine, but it is located across the street from the railroad tracks. Both nights we stayed we were woken up at 3am by a train that sounded like it was rolling down the hall way. There were several trains each day. It wasn't mentioned on the web site when we booked the room and no one mentioned it at check in. Tat would be good information to have!

Clean, safe... near train tracks
The room was very spacious. Bed and linens were clean and comfy. Great to have a microwave and fridge. Breakfast area was spacious, clean and well maintained. The biggest surprise was how close it was to train tracks. If you're a deep sleeper, you might be okay. But the trains feel compelled to blast their horns. One night there were 2 trains. The next, none. So it seems to be inconsistent. Maybe ear plugs will help.

Staff was great! Hotel was clean and felt safe and inviting. Kiddo was a little upset that the pool was too dirty to swim in but everything else was good.

There are railroad tracks across the street and the trains come through 24x7 every 3-4 hours and blows it horns as loud as possible. It's incredibly loud! It's why they have a bowl of earplugs on the front desk. Believe me they won't help. If you can sleep through a nuclear blast you will be fine.

Overnight motorcycle ride stay
Was riding my motorcycle from Monroe to Baton Rouge for a bike ride the next day. Grounds were well lit and safe. Hotel allowed me to park my bike under cover which was nice. Chantorya who checked me in was new but extremely nice and helpful. My room was updated, clean and very comfy. Bed and pillows were perfect. Bathroom was very clean. Shower water pressure was a touch weak but still nice. Only complaint was my room was hot when I arrived so I turned the ac on and went out for dinner. When I returned it was cool and kept me cool all night. They even give out ear plugs at the desk and I wondered why but I learned why at 11:07pm when a train come through. It didn't last but a min so it wasn't bad. Otherwise it was quiet all night. Breakfast was your typical continental items but was all good. I would stay here again over staying in Baton Rouge because of price and convenience plus you are only 20 mins away from the downtown BR area. Definitely would stay here again.
