"Its a nice place with lots of potenial. The staff is friendly and the place is quiet and relaxing. A bar near the pool would improve the experience. Since people has to walk almost to the street to ask for a drink. Rennovations to fix that are in place, which is a plus. The rooms would need some updates too. The bathroom sink was poorly clean and a floor too. But rooms are very confortable, just need a little much to be perfect. We enjoyed our stay, best trip so far to the keys. "

"We had a great room with a balcony and a marina view and we loved it. It was updated and clean. They have two pools that are open till 11pm and and a tiki bar in between. Very lovely property."

"We have been coming to the Islander for five years every summer to celebrate my son’s birthday. We are fans even before the renovations. This property is very convenient for families and you dont ever have to leave the hotel. Everything is right there and kid friendly. The pool has service with food and drinks. Only until 4PM. The new food truck is OK. However, after so many years of coming to this property they dont have like a rewards program or they dont even have it on their system that we are repeat customers. "

"The location of this place is unreal. I could warch my bpar from my room, cruise to the Everglades in 5 mins, be at Pennecamp in 10 and enjoy the open Ocean in 15 mins. So amazing!"
