The accommodations were clean, comfortable and quiet with an incredible beach we could walk along for miles. The staff were helpful if we needed anything and we had access to the Naia resort and restaurants (like 1981 and the bar lounge)and could go over to Serenian Bay to the gym and restaurants as well. It was an incredible stay for the 3 weeks we spent there. The property, which is north of Placencia, was a 20 minute golf cart ride into town. We preferred being a little farther from the town and tourist areas. Herbert, our property manager, was a fantastic communicator and offered to help with anything we might need. Alvaro, a grounds person was a wealth of information and help. He made sure that we had everything we needed, that the hot tub was warm when requested, helped with kayak's and paddle-boards, and even treated us to fresh coconut from the trees. Sharing stories of his life in Belize, we learned so much about the different languages and history of this very diverse country. Alvaro would be a wonderful tour guide.
