Fully furnished to a high modern finish. All the windows have mosquito nets which is great for sleeping at night with the windows open. We have all the mod cons, all you need to bring is yourselves. The apartment is on the 1st floor and has 2 terraces, 1 off the kitchen/living room with an awning, perfect for breakfast and the other on the roof the full size of the apartment with a pergola shaded area with seating area for when it gets too hot. We get the sun all day if you want with the choice of the 2 terraces. There are also 2 sun loungers for sunbathing with a view over 1 of the swimming pools. We have air conditioning in the the living/kitchen area and both bedrooms also. The property is on the beach side of the development and is a short walk to the beach as well as 1 of the swimming pools ( which you can see from the bedroom window). Our family was very happy with everything. The flat is well maintained and the kitchen has everything you need. With two bedrooms, large balcony and the outstanding terrace, it was perfect for a family (4 persons). The sea can be reached in about 5 minutes through a nice forest. Shopping facilities nearby. We highly recommend the piazza of Pizzo. The Italian charm is given here. The property was a good base, had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. If I'm honest, as a family of four with two teenagers, a bit more living space inside would have been nice, but the roof terrace provided a great additional space and we spent most of our family time there. A big plus was the property's private wifi as the resort wifi wasn't very good. Just a shame it didn't reach the roof terrace. Pizzo Beech Club itself was incredibly relaxing and felt very safe with the gated access. again it is clean and tidy. Lots of space at the two pools and never struggled to get a sunbed. Also lovely to have the private beech space just a short walk away. The complex staff were very helpful, especially Rachel (English speaking) on reception. The complex is sandwiched between two other resorts. At night their music could be heard from the roof terrace, but it provided us some entertainment as well. Once inside with the A/C on it couldn't be heard. We travelled by train from Naples to Vibo Valentia Pizzo station and got a taxi there. It's about 7km but cost us 60 euros by the rip off taxi drivers! We were welcomed by Nervosa - the agent, who is absolutely lovely and very helpful. She helped us organise other taxis, etc. (We had cancelled our car hire in Naples after we saw the drivers, but in Pizzo it's not so bad. You do really need a car for this apartment as it is a bit out on a limb.) The kids loved the two pools, especially the slide. There is a small restaurant on site serving pizza at teatime, amongst other pastas and fish type dishes. There's not a huge menu but it's not badly priced. The apartment is well equipped and maintained. Everything was very clean. There was one annoyance only - a squeak on the water system. There is a great roof terrace and BBQ. We enjoyed the apartment but it was a little quiet in the evenings for our kids. There was no entertainment at all which I should have checked out a bit more. But it meant we had to talk to each other which was actually really great! We wouldn't go back as a family, but if my husband and I could go on our own (with a car), this place is ideal. Zum Restaurant kann ich nichts sagen, war im Mai noch geschlossen. Kiesstrand ca. 600m durch einen schattigen Wald, Liegen sowohl am Pool als auch am Meer vorhanden. Das Haus ist nicht mehr ganz neu, aber von abgewohnt kann keine Rede sein. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Dachterasse ist sehr schön aber wurde von uns nicht sehr oft genutzt wegen der Moskitos nach der Dämmerung. Am besten Mückenschutz mitbringen, die Wohnung ist dank perfekter Fenstergitter absolut mückenfrei. Sonnenschirm und Strandspielzeug für Kinder auch zur freien Verfügung. WiFi gut. Netter Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer und reibungslose Übergabe, Kaution wurde sofort erstattet. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es ein Hotel mit Animation und Livemusik bis in den späten Abend, wer die absolute Ruhe sucht ist hier falsch. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Auto unbedingt erforderlich, nächster Supermarkt einige Kilometer entfernt. ##### Dirk F. Séjour de 11 nuits en mai 2018 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Johan D., Brugge 9 oct. 2017 #### Fantastisch mooi en verzorgd appartement. Volgens ons geschikt voor 4 personen, gezien er maar eetgelegenheid voor 4 zowel binnen als buiten. Alles is aanwezig voor eten, strijken en wassen. Barbeque en ligzetels bovenaan. Misschien zou een microgolfoven nog gemakkelijker zijn voor mensen die willen thuis eten. Ook iets meer wasknijpers en kleerhangers. Goede bedden. Afstand naar supermarkt 7 km. Meest negatieve voor ons was de afstand naar Pizzo stad, namelijk 10 km. Mooi verzorgd zwembad (bewaakt) en tuin. Inderdaad tot 00-02 u lawaai van uitgaan naast de deur. Daar is een groot Restaurant (nooit gegeten). Aan het strand,15 min te voet langs padje tussen bomen, zijn ligzetels parasol's en is er een redder aanwezig. Kortom een aanrader, maar een auto is aangeraden, tenzij je enkel zon en zee wil. ##### Johan D. Séjour de 12 nuits en septembre 2017 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Heike N. 1 oct. 2017 #### Toller Pool schlecht gepflegte Häuser und abgewohnte Wohnung nach kurzer Zeit Die Wohnung war auf den Bildern sehr schön in Wirklichkeit schon sehr abgewohnt. Wir waren richtig enttäuscht wie oberflächlich alles gereinigt war. Alles Geschirr war fettig und klebrig. Die Abzugshaube hatte eine dicke Fettschicht und der Backofen war mit benutzen fettigen Backblechen voll. Wir konnten ihn selbst nach der Reinigung nicht verwenden da er so geraucht hat vom fettigen Belag im Ofen. Wir haben uns an die Agentin gewendet....eigentlich wollte sie am nächsten Tag kommen. Der Vermieter Brendan war sehr nett. Zur Begrüßung gab es von seinem agentebn eine Flasche Sekt. Wir haben ihm nach unserem Aufenthalt Fotos vom den Schäden der Wohnung geschickt. Er hat sofort die Kaution zurück erstattet aber nie geantwortet. Im Restaurant wird man als nicht italienisch sprechender Gast gut bedient. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Es gibt keinen Bäcker in der Nähe und ab 1.9 im Restaurant keine Pizza mehr! Ist halt so! Außen herum ist nichts man braucht ein Auto. Das war kein Problem. Ich bin schon viel gereist und Süditalien gleicht eher Mittelamerika als Europa. Arbeitslosigkeit Müll Müll Müll und Hygiene ein Fremdwort. Hervorzueheben ist das fantastische Meer und der wunderschöne riesengroße saubere Pool der Anlage. Die Häuser sind in 10 Jahren leider bereit zum Abriss. Abschließend verstehe ich nicht warum nicht nach jedem Mieter kontrolliert wird was an Geschirr kaputt ist und wenn nicht sauber gespült ist gibt's keine Kaution zurück. Wir haben mit dem Leintuch schlecht geschlafen empfehlen das Mitbringen einer Decke. Die Fliegengitter sind perfekt!!! ##### Heike N.
