It is an easy five minute walk to Butler Street where you can enjoy restaurants and shops. The actual location of the property was not great. It’s in a small alley area with some rundown properties around it. The stairs to the unit are steep so if you have mobility issues this is not for you. It definitely serves its purpose for Homecoming weekend at UPitt as a place to sleep. ##### Eli J. Basement was unlo ked and a shared space...also highly untidy unsanitary. When removing bedding from bed obvious signs of bedbug infestation, adult molts, and stains. Immediately left. I checked in the night before trash day, the smell was terrible. Trash was piled high outside of the steps leading to the door. Also, there were folks rummaging through the trash for several hours during the early evening which was unsettling. The location was convenient and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well which was a huge plus. The place was moderately well stocked, could use additional silverware and other nice amenities like ground coffee.
