It boasts easy access to Downtown, the airport, the North Side (Stadiums) and all other points East/West/North and South. We have a world renowned City View on Grandview Ave. Our main business district is located at Shiloh Street and offers great stops for lunch, dinner, a quick coffee or to grab some drinks! Be sure to check out the 10+ miles of hiking trails offered on the Emerald View Trail System. If you dig Architecture, Chatman Village is nationally recognized for its design and function, while your in that part of the neighborhood grab a cup of joe from Cafe Cravings, or grab a cold beer and some wings at the Bigham Tavern. It is about a $8 uber/lyft ride to any of the stadiums/arenas as well as the convention center. For groceries, bottle shop for beer, bakery, a few Restaurants, and the liquor store are all located on or near Shiloh. It is our main street on Mt. Washington and its located about 5 minutes from the house. The Grocery Store - Shop and Save - is at the intersection of Virginia and Shiloh. Shiloh is a great place to park and walk down Grandview as well to see the city at night. Getting Around: There are numerous options for public transportation - it is best to use a mapping app if that is how you plan on getting around. The historic inclines are great for taking a ride up and down the hill and enjoying the view! Lyft/Uber are usually the easiest ways to catch a ride. Other Things to Note: There is a smart lock installed on front door for guest access. We have a drip coffee maker and coffee. We fully stock the property, with towels, paper products, and bed linens. You must climb steps at this property. It is 3 floors, there are steps from the rear parking into the house as well. There are 2 heating/cooling zones. Floor 1 and 2 are controlled by the thermostat on the 1st floor. It was clean, in a perfect spot to get anywhere in Pittsburgh quickly. We felt safe in the neighborhood, and a few of the neighbors struck up conversation with us. I would definitely stay here again. Corey was a fantastic host and kept in touch with us our entire stay to make sure we were comfortable. ##### Christopher E. While most everyone else attending the wedding stayed in a hotel, there is no way that would have been a comfortable arrangement for our 3 year old granddaughter since we were altogether for more than just a couple of days. The multiple levels gave her plenty of space to explore and it was wonderful to have the lovely front porch to sit on and side yard to play in. Three and a half bathrooms was probably the number one reason we chose this house. Each bathroom was updated and very clean. ##### Julianne N. I do agree with other VRBO guests that the living room sofa has many stains, and even an oder to it. We placed blankets on it before sitting on it. Stair rugs should be replaced. Would be nice to have a king sized bed....at least in the master. I make these comments because I also rent out our home at the shore....and I keep very high standards for accommodations for my guests. But again, overall, the property was fine. ##### Judy P.
