"Great few days and very dog friendly. Decor a bit dated but clean, warm and very comfortable. Big bathrooms, plenty of room in suite, comfy bed. Food excellent, great choice for breakfast and reasonably priced evening meals, food piping hot and home cooked. Sophie loved her sausage for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely be back, a wee gem of a hotel "

"Lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The spa and pool, although small, is a great bonus. The pub, bar, larder and restaurant are nicely decorated. The fire place burning in the evenings is adding to the cosy atmosphere. The food is good. The hotel is also dog friendly. We would likely return for another stay. "
