This cabin was perfect for us and our dog as well. The inside had all the things you could need. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch as well as beside the fire. You feel you are up on a mountain and away from things, but if you need them: Downtown Brevard is 5-10 minutes away. Grocery stores and pharmacy are 10-15\. Hiking and waterfalls 10 minutes. I was excited that I was able to get pictures of an elusive white school in the front yard. We would love to come and stay again, next time we will stay more than just a couple nights. I would have liked a day or two just to stay at the cabin and read a book.
