Summary:  
Tucked among the tall pines of Pinehill, AZ, this no-frills lodge room is ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to spend their days exploring the outdoors and their evenings unwinding in a simple, peaceful space. Whether you're hiking forest trails, fishing mountain lakes, or soaking up fresh air, this is a practical spot to recharge between adventures.  
  
The Space:  
This studio-style unit features a queen bed, full bath, and a kitchenette with a two-burner stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee pot, and microwave (no oven).  
  
These Lodge units are priced at our lowest rates and reflect a more rustic atmosphere due to the age and character of the building. They are best suited for guests who value outdoor experiences over indoor amenities.  
  
Please note: This unit sleeps a maximum of 2 guests and is not suitable for families. No complimentary upgrades to other unit types outside the Lodge will be extended.  
  
Guest Access:  
Guests can enjoy the Lodge indoor rec center with a heated pool, hot tub, gym, lockers, and showers. Outside, relax at the BBQ pits, play bocce or horseshoes, and let kids explore two playgrounds. The shared lobby offers a cozy spot to unwind or socialize.

We enjoyed mini golf, horse shoes, pool, ping pong and the hot tub! Great place to stay! Pics didn’t quite reflect the room and bath layout but we were still okay with this!

Points forts : Propreté

Check in is at 4 p.m. we arrived around 4:30 p.m. and there was nobody at the desk to check us in. We waited more than 5 minutes before someone showed up and handed us a bag with keys and told us what room. Informed us we’d have to return before 10 to check in. We had to interrupt our morning plans to return to the resort to “check in” very inconvenient. The room was fine ( would have rather had a first floor room but the person who handed us keys couldn’t accommodate request since he was only security) room was clean, spacious we have no complaint on that side. Now check out was another issue. We were ready to check out at 7:40 a.m and again nobody was at the desk. We waited until 8 when official hours begin and still no one at the desk. My husband made several trips to the office until around 8:20 we handed keys to a staff member of cleaning staff I think. Overall our stay was good. Mattresses do need to be replaced. Ours was not comfortable at all. To sum up the biggest issue we have is check in/ check out process needs improvement.
