"Overall the stay was good, however i had reserved a suite, and upon check-in learned that they had apparently been over sold. I was given a standard room with two queen beds, but i guess i thought there might be some price adjustment/compensation. The 3 stars for property condition relates to an area of the hallway which had restaurant style bus tubs covering areas of the floor to catch water leaking from the ceiling "

"We were beyond thrilled with our visit! The staff was over the top excellent! Super friendly and helpful. We felt like we were at home and every single day they went above and beyond to help us have an amazing stay. The girls at front desk and the shuttle driver all made our stay the best. We can’t wait to come back! "

"Room was clean except for hair in the sink and tub. I went to use a washcloth and found hair embedded in it. Beds were hard."

"Hotel is good. Located around hospitals in downtown. Relatively old and facilities might need some remodeling. Overall a good hotel if you are looking in that area. "

"The only good thing about the property, is the proximity to Buffalo airport. ! The hotel is pretty run down, and the entire floor smelled of weed. Some guests on our floor were questionable, they were constantly banging doors and swearing outside our room.! We were up all night. And checked out petty early for our flight next morning, during checkout, there were 4 cop cars and as informed by the receptionist, there was a situation. Never coming back here .. our kids were scared and so glad we were out of there. "

"An absolutely amazing hotel. I loved the history and prominence of the building. Truly beautiful architecture and so sympathetically restored. Despite the history, I felt only good vibes. Everything screams "luxe". The staff are friendly and kind. The bed was super comfortable, I loved the pillows. My room was on the ground floor so it was a little dark. The restaurant and bar were lovely and the food so good. Some small criticisms were that the lamp and some of the plugs in the room didn't work. Also, breakfast was a strange experience. A weird lullaby was playing on repeat the whole time, and also no teaspoons were provided for my tea. The breakfast food was mediocre. The server seemed quite nervous. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. The museum underneath was so interesting. "
