"The historical significance of this property is reason alone to visit. George Washington's great grandfather established a plantation there in 1642. While original buildings were burned, the owners have restored according to drawings and records. There's a cemetery on property with graves from 1600s. Attention to service was outstanding and personal."

"The Captain's House is a great place for a family or a sailboat race crew. It has plenty of space, a nice kitchen, it's clean and well appointed, and Jason is very good to work with. We have stayed in Deltaville 7 times... the last 2 at Jason's place. It very fairly priced, and we will try to stay there again next year (Labor Day regatta) if it's available."
