"It was a beautiful house with a great yard for the kids to play. Very spacious dining and hangout area inside with plenty of comfortable beds. Sound is almost in casting distance with tons of local spots to fish. Absolutely the best host we have ever had in a vacation home!!! "This townhome was perfect for myself and 2 teens; could have easily accommodated 3 teens; plenty of space for everyone; Master suite so relaxing, the decor and upgrades are really on-pointe; beds are super comfy, full kitchen, use of beach chairs, walk to the beach was nothing, and close by restaurants and other activities. We booked on a whim for the July 4th Holiday, and had plenty of fireworks to enjoy right on the beach both nights. We'd definitely book this property again."

"We had a wonderful weekend in Beaufort staying at the Guest House. We walked to restaurants and marina where we took the ferry to the islands and beaches around. The home was lovely, perfect for two people. It was very clean, comfortable, with beautiful interior decoration, in a great location. "

"Had a wonderful time at this property …. While we were there air broke but property manager was awesome to respond quickly ! Only issue was advertised as private dock and apparently owner has full access to the dock and showed up three days in a row… hopefully they can fix this as the property is gorgeous!"

The owners were exceptionally helpful and quickly responded to any questions. The view of summer sunset over the water from the top floor was stunning. "We enjoyed our short stay (4 nts) at this Emerald Isle Retreat. The location is great - walking distance to many restaurants and close to the bike trail. It's just a few minutes walk down the street (10 houses or so) to the neighborhood's private beach boardwalk. The neighborhood looks like most homes are owner-occupied, so the beach was not too crowded. The house was clean and neat, and it was more than sufficient for our stay. "We had a death in our family and a storm which prevented us from coming both days but overall the property was clean, convenient and welcoming. My only bad experience was that my bed fell at some point during the night for no reason. Other than that it was good. The property is close to the beach and Mac Daddy's arcade. The kids enjoyed that"

"When we arrived, there was maintenance crew working on the home so we could not enter originally, then we found out they were spraying the mold thats in the master bedroom closet. The maintenance crew was confused they thought we were coming the next day. The smell was absolutely disgusting and gave us a headache all weekend. The only thing decent about the play was the location, very close to the beach access point since it’s across the street. Location 8/10. House 1/10."
