From the moment we arrived, it was clear the owners had gone above and beyond to make both humans and pups feel welcome. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay — even thoughtful touches like dog water bowls, towels, couch covers, and toys for our dogs! The fenced yard was a huge bonus, giving our dogs plenty of safe space to run and play while we relaxed on the patio and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We also loved the daily visits from elk and deer. It’s rare to find a place that feels like home away from home, but this rental exceeded all of our expectations. The listing photos are very accurate. The kitchen is fully stocked which is great for those who want to cook. The fenced yard was perfect for our labrador. We had visits from several varieties of wildlife outside the fence, which was perfect. The neighborhood is good for walking if you don't mind a few hills and close to plenty of other hiking trails. The yard has a tall fence so our dogs couldn't jump over. The house is very cozy and nicely decorated. It has everything we needed for our trip. We will definitely stay here again! We saw a lot of elk very close to the house and it was super cool to see those magnificent animals up so close. The house is really close to the hiking trails and to the Pine and Strawberry towns.
