« There were 8 of us. The house is very spacious and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths we were able to spread out and have our own space. Mariella, the owner, was extremely helpful every time we had questions. She even took the time to put fresh cut flowers on the table and entryway! Such a thoughtful touch! « This property is wonderful. I would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away to a quiet and relaxing destination. We took our dogs as this house is very dog friendly. We enjoyed the water and just hanging out at the house. The master bed is so comfortable. It is out a bit in the country. That was one reason I chose it. »

« That was an awesome house. I planned a bachelor party for my brother and we wanted a lake house with a dock and this was golden. It was a very cute house, and nice layout. We brought a boat and put in at one of the boat ramps that’s less than 5 mins from the house, then were able to park the trailer at the house. « We were in town for a one night stay but as soon as we walked in we all wanted to stay another night. The covered outdoor patio was a great place to sit and relax after our long drive and had everything we needed. The house itself was wonderfully decorated and comfortable down to every little detail. The location was perfect for a walk into downtown Sparta for morning coffee and breakfast at a great little coffee shop. I will absolutely be returning for another visit to explore this beautiful...

« We had a great stay. A couple suggestions we thought might be helpful for the host. The second bath shower needs a better shower head. There was no stopper for the sink for shaving. Otherwise great options for seating inside and outside. Kitchen island wonderful for food prep & serving. Gorgeous walnut table. »

« This was our 3rd stay in one of John's properties, and it's always a great experience! The kitchen is very well equipped, we felt right at home cooking there. We always enjoy exploring Renegade Mountain and the surrounding area. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, you found it. »

« Overall, the stay was great. We caught some good fish during the stay. The property was pretty clean overall, but some of the dishes still had dirty food on them.
