You can walk to tons of activities, including dining and entertainment. The Pigeon Forge Convention Center is right next door! You are located right on the Little Pigeon River, which flows right out of the Great Smoky Mountains. It offers great trout fishing, so don't forget to grab a daily fishing license! This is the closest lodging to the LeConte Convention Center! You can walk right over, no problem! Getting Around: We always recommend a vehicle but you can walk to tons of activities located in Pigeon Forge, TN as this location is as good as it gets! Other Things to Note: • Must be 21 or older to book this condo • This condo sleeps 6 guests maximum • Condo is easily accessible via flat, paved city roads and parkways • 4x4 is recommended only if you plan to explore mountainous areas beyond Pigeon Forge • Gas fireplaces are seasonal and operate from October–March, depending on the weather • Starter sets of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent are provided • Bring your own coffee for the regular drip coffee maker • Closest lodging to the LeConte Convention Center — easy walk • Outdoor pool typically opens around Memorial Day and closes near the end of August (dates may change without notice — controlled by HOA) • Any maintenance or amenity closures are determined by the HOA and may happen without notice • Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors. • We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos. The location was perfect being right next to Teaster Lane, which bypasses the Parkway. If you know anything about Parkway you know it is slow and lots of traffic. We had an easy time checking in, and the instructions were great and very clear! They had great communication with us the whole time! We stayed here for New Years Eve and we were able to watch two fireworks shows from the balcony! There is also a beautiful river, and Riverwalk is right behind the building which takes you straight to Margaritaville Island. Our kids loved it! BONUS: The beds were big and very comfy!!! We love a place who values a good nights sleep!! I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and we wanted to take a weekend trip before I started chemo. I chose this condo due to the river, my goodness this condo did not disappoint! CLEAN is an understatement! This condo was pristine! The master bed we could just melt into, the jetted tub was a must. It was exactly what our family needed! Everything was exactly as advertised. The space was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the porch overlooking the river. It was beautiful and the sound of the water running was some relaxing.
