Take the time to rest you mind and spirit in this peaceful cabin that is located along the banks of the Little Pigeon River, is just one mile from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, and just five miles from Dollywood. Perfect for your escape, you can spend your days enjoying all the attractions that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer, or you can just sit back and relax in the hot tub while you watch the river float by. This cabin has hardwood throughout, and the living room offers a queen size sleeper sofa and recliner where you can sit back and relax by the gas fireplace while you watch a movie on the 50-inch flat screen TV. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, and microwave. Gather with your family or have an intimate dinner for two at the dining table that seats up to 4\. The private bedroom on the main level offers a king size bed and private bathroom with a double vanity and walk in two-person shower. The open loft bedroom features a queen size bed with a private bathroom with walk in shower. Both bathrooms offer wall mounted hair dryers for your convenience. The kids will love the newly added stand-up arcade machine. I did not enjoy one ounce of PF. It was tacky, loud and crowded. A tourist trap with views of the Smoky Mountains to lure you into the idea that you were going to be able to relax. That being said… If you need a place to stay that is close to the action and out of the madness that is the Parkway, this is a great option. Clean and simple. Way better than a hotel. The contactless check-in was convenient and the cabin rental company staff was proactive and easy to contact from booking to cleaning up. I will say that I expected more seclusion and river access. The cabins are super close together and there is no way to truly experience the little bit of nature there is. You cannot walk anywhere. The main road is extremely busy and there is no access to the neighborhood where a walking path is visible. From making reservations to checking out it was easy and will do it again. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and exactly as advertised. Several other vacationers there were very friendly.
